Directions:
By car from Chester or Wrexham direction: As you come along the A51, you pass the entrance to Reaseheath College. At the next major roundabout, follow sign to Crewe. At the second major roundabout ignore signs to Crewe. Instead, follow the route signposted A530 to Middlewich. About a mile on your right, you come to a white pub called The Rising Sun. Turn right, and follow the road until it comes to a dip over which you cross a narrow bridge. As you climb out of the dip, on your left you come to Windermere Road (don’t turn here), then Handforth Road (don’t turn here), then Capesthorne Road (turn here). I am at No 38 Capesthorne Road (on the left) down at the other end of Capesthorne Road.
By car from Manchester, Congleton, Alsager, Sandbach, Stoke direction: Find your way to Crewe Railway station and turn onto the A534 to Nantwich. Starting with the pedestrian traffic lights immediately in front of Crewe Station (no. 1) go along Nantwich Road (A534) through 10 sets of traffic lights (all within a one mile stretch of road). After the tenth set of traffic lights, you will see a sign on your left marked ‘South Cheshire College’. Turn right into Dane Bank Avenue. At the end of Dane Bank Avenue, go straight over into Readesdale Avenue. At the end of Readesdale Avenue, turn right into Moreton Road. Capesthorne Road is the third turning on the left. I am at No 38 on the right hand side of the road, about 50 metres along.
By car from Whitchurch, Nantwich direction: Go along the A534 to Crewe. As you come past a pub called the Manor, in about 30 metres you will see a sign on your right marked ‘South Cheshire College’. Turn left into Dane Bank Avenue. At the end of Dane Bank Avenue, go straight over into Readesdale Avenue. At the end of Readesdale Avenue, turn right into Moreton Road. Capesthorne Road is the third turning on the left. I am at No 38 on the right hand side of the road, about 50 metres along.
By car from Middlewich direction: Go along the A530 to Nantwich. As you near Crewe you come to a large roundabout. Ignore signs to Crewe and continue towards Nantwich. You will go down in a dip and see a pub on the left side of the road called the Rising Sun. Turn left here and follow the road until it comes to a dip over which you cross a narrow bridge. As you climb out of the dip, on your left you come to Windermere Road (don’t turn here), then Handforth Road (don’t turn here), then Capesthorne Road (turn here). I am at No 38 Capesthorne Road (on the left) down at the other end of Capesthorne Road.
By public transport: If you are coming by train (Crewe Station) or bus, find your way to Crewe Bus Station. Catch the No. 68 (Beech Drive Circular) which leaves every 20 minutes. Ask the Bus Driver to let you know when you get to the second stop along Capesthorne Road. I am at No. 38 which is on the other side of the road, walking back in the direction you have just come, about 20 meters along from the bus stop. If you are very early for your appointment, get off at the first stop along Capesthorne Road and head for the café in Queen’s Park. It takes ten minutes to walk from the café in Queen’s Park to No 38 Capesthorne Road.
Please be aware that I do not have a waiting area and that I will most probably have another client with me if you arrive early, so I will not answer the door. Queen’s Park is just around the corner. There is a café in Queen’s Park, as well as it being a good place to stroll and unwind until your appointment.
